Drake 150

Beautifully designed restaurant on York St in downtown Toronto. Cozy red leather bar stools to relax and choose from their carefully curated wine, beer and spirits selection. The food is also excellent; classics that are fresh and clean and fit the relaxed yet posh atmosphere.

Earl's

Earl's on York St downtown Toronto. At first glance, this looks like your typical sports and beer bar. However, the food is amazing! Had the Bimbimbap and it was surprisingly spectacular. A definite Vietnamese twist on the menu. A pleasant surprise.

Pearson Airport (YYZ)

Massive airport. Leave yourself plenty of time to get to your gate, it feels like you walk 72 miles sometimes here. Lots of connections globally, and usually less expensive to fly into than Billy Bishop. Recently installed the  "UP Train" that takes you directly to Union Station in downtown Toronto in about 25 minutes for about $30

Sheraton Gateway in Terminal 3-Literally connected the airport. Also take the sky-tram to the UP train if you need to get downtown. Super easy, and a pretty nice hotel too.

Fairmont Royal York

Perfect location for almost everything. Directly across the street from Union Station, so perfect for getting in late, or if it's cold and you can just pop across the street. Also, connected to The Path so you can stay inside during the winter, or rain. Starbucks on the next block, however also a Kerug in room. Taxi's at all hours out front, but also shuttle to Billy Bishop Airport that will pick up in front of said Starbucks every 15-20 minutes for free.

Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ)

My favorite airport in the world. This is the city center airport for Toronto, its on this little island. You used to have to take a little ferry across to get there, but they recently built an underground tunnel which is particularly convenient when its cold out. Airport security in Canada is no joke, they are in no hurry and they really do look at EVERYTHING. However, they are super nice and there are only ever like 10 people in line. Here is the bonus, there is a complimentary cafe in the terminal lounge! As much tea, coffee, chocolate biscuits, and granola as your heart desires. They have these lovely leather armchairs that is the perfect place to have your morning tea. I always leave myself a little extra time here to people watch with my tea here.

Toroni Restaurant-Summerhill

Southern Italian inspired cuisine. Think octopus, buratta, Aperol spritz, and gorgeous salads and homemade pasta. The rooftop is the perfect place to spend lunch on a sunny day. Make reservations if it's going to be a nice day! Although there is a 3 sided bar you can sidle up to.
